We require an experienced Battery Engineer/ Technician for our rapidly expanding Aintree-based company. Our positive working culture has propelled us into one of the fastest growing battery companies in Europe.

Tasks will include:
• Testing and evaluation of battery products
• Assisting clients with technical questions/queries
• Product development
• Visiting suppliers and customers both in the UK and overseas
• Updating and writing of technical data sheets/ specifications
• Customer/ site surveys
• Quality control

Skills required:
• Excellent technical ability in AGM VRLA technology
• Testing and evaluation of batteries including analytical report writing and recommendations
• Knowledge of OPzs and OPzv batteries an advantage
• Knowledge of battery manufacturing processes an advantage
• Excellent, friendly and clear communication skills
• Knowledge of foreign language(s) would be an advantage
• Ability to work on own initiative and willingness to work within a team
• Articulate and organised
• Punctual
