This is an exciting opportunity for a trainee journalist to gain invaluable financial reporting and editorial experience with AltAssets. With NCTJ (or equivalent) training, you will be ready to support our editorial team in getting news out to its audience.
You will be proactive and ready to learn about private equity investments in order to relay the industry's latest development to AltAssets' audience. We are an online private equity news service which receives more than 400,000 visits per month and provides a newsletter to more than 20,000 subscribers.
Daily responsibilities will include sourcing and writing relevant news stories, building relationships with PR contacts and firms' media relations teams, updating the website with fresh content and offering general editorial support to the news desk.
This is the perfect opening for a recently trained journalist to get their foot on the ladder in a highly competitive industry.
Although this is a part-time vacancy, the right candidate will be considered for a full-time role going forward.
