Compliance Officer – Gibraltar

An award winning Gibraltar based fund administration company that provides services to the asset management industry both in Gibraltar and overseas has an opportunity for a Compliance Officer to join their busy team.
The Gibraltar arm of this global operation (a FTSE 100 company), specialises in the administration of hedge funds, property funds and private equity funds for both Gibraltar domiciled and non domiciled funds.
We seek a Compliance professional with circa 3 years+ experience preferably working from within the fund sector.
Duties will include:
• Identify and prepare new compliance policies or amend policies as appropriate.
• Prepare reports, detail findings, and make recommendations for changes to senior management, and implement those changes.
• Schedule, conduct and oversee Compliance Monitoring for compliance with procedures, regulatory and statutory obligations.
• Identify, report, escalate and seek resolution of weaknesses or gaps in internal procedures or controls within the business.
• Maintenance of Compliance Manual and Procedures.
• Participate in regular Compliance Committees and other relevant business forums.
