This large insurance cluster of companies requires an experienced insurance underwriter to join their existing team. Based from their Maltese office this role will involve underwriting speciality lines and general lines work.
The role will include analysing risks and exposures, running appropriate rating and measurement models and assessing contract terms. There will also be a requirement to meet with the brokers as necessary to produce business, work with senior management in defining, developing and enacting company strategy and to enhance knowledge of various markets in which this organisation operates.
You must have previous property and casualty underwriting and be willing to embrace a new challenge. It is expected that you will have exposure to underwriting strategy and a full understanding of any planning that is required. A minimum of 3 year underwriting experience is required.
