ERP Project Manager - Reading

JOB DESCRIPTION:
A. Purpose and Scope:
Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the project management team(s)
B. Responsibilities
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards.
- Minimize our exposure and risk on project.
- Ensure project documents and agreements are complete, current, filed and stored appropriately.
- Draft minutes of the project meetings
- Participate in Steering committee meetings, act as a Chairman
- Report project status to Steering Commitee
- Present agreed revisions to Steering Committee
- Establish internal projects
- Act as a Chairman at the Internal Projects meetings, take minutes
- Track and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
- Manage project budget.
- Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for project.
- Follow up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
- Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
- Identify business development and "add-on" sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
C. Client Management
- Manage day-to-day client interaction.
- Set and manage client expectations.
- Develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
- Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
D. Organization Relationships
The Project Manager reports directly to the General Manager and to the International Project Manager within HQ.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A. Education and training
The Project Manager should have a four year degree, preferably in a field that offers an opportunity to gain a well rounded background in business/economics. Additional class work in management type courses and finance/bookkeeping is preferred. General understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design, Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.
B. Technical Requirements
Demonstrated strong customer service skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Strong planning, organizational, and problem solving skills. Demonstrated a high degree of initiative and ability to work collaboratively. Demonstrated experience in team building, influencing and conflict resolution. Proven track record of successful project completion.

Minimum 3 years of management and supervisory experience.
