Live in Care/support Worker
at CareChoice in Thornbury Bristol United Kingdom
Provide care/support for an elderly lady in her own home on a live in basis.
Duties will include all aspects of daily living, such as helping individuals to wash and dress, toileting, bathing, meal preparation, prompting medication, taking part in community and social activities.
Live in care is a rewarding role where you live alongside the person, developing a relationship and learning their individual routines. You as part of a team in their own home and enable individuals to maintain an independent life.
Full training will be given however knowledge of positive dementia care is desirable.
NVQ training is available to all as is specialist training in relevant areas.
You will work on a 2 week on 2 week off basis (negotiable)
References and Criminal Records Disclosure are required as is eligibility to work in the UK without a work permit and must have your own accommodation to stay in for your 2 weeks off
