German Speaking Executive Search Consultants

Our client conducts research into industrial and commercial companies and related areas. They provide data and analysis for Executive Search consultants (broadly speaking HeadHunters) in the identification and qualification of potential candidates.
They are looking for a researcher with fluency in German and English to join their existing team of 12.
The position involves conducting research over the telephone (using a variety of data sources including corporate directories and web-based material), producing written reports and extensive telephone contact with potential candidates.
Their business, located near Solihull, West Midlands, offers a service across all sectors, disciplines and managerial levels, from middle management to main board, private and public sectors.
They have been researching internationally on a fairly regular basis for the last 10 years: regions covered include Europe (inc Eastern Europe), Middle East, USA and Australia/New Zealand.
The ideal candidates will have:
1. A qualification in a language/s, Business Studies, Economics, Information Technology or a related subject.
Alternatively, good HR or related business experience may be appropriate.
2. Experience of working in any service industry, possibly Banking, Finance or in a human resources environment.
3. A very high degree of literacy and excellent communication skills, on paper and over the telephone. Multi-level telephone communications experience would be useful.
4. Keyboard skills. Packages used in-house include Word, Excel Outlook and Access.
5. Some solid, structured work experience and the maturity and confidence required to handle confidential information and communicate effectively at all levels.
6. Other language skills alongside German and English would be an advantage but not absolute.
Salary to be discussed + bonus, pension and benefits.
Their induction training and ongoing development will equip the new team member with the skills to develop rapidly into a professional researcher.
