Managing and developing sales in Eastern Europe for a well-established British company.
This Export Sales Manager role is to help develop the sales and marketing activities in the Eastern European region. The current business contributes a significant portion our client’s turnover and profit.
You will explore and identify new market opportunities and strategies to develop the traditional business as well as new emerging markets.
Target new channels in each geographical territory and appointing new agents, wholesalers or distributors
Target retail chains in each country to develop large volume business.
Take the lead in the implementation of new products in cooperation with marketing and sourcing team.
Degree educated, you will have a proven track record in sales management over a number of years in the textile, apparel and/or non-food consumer goods industries (FMCG).
You will need to be fluent in English – additional language skills would be beneficial, particularly fluent German and/or Russian.
You should be willing to travel extensively.
Essential Requirements *
· You need to have experience of sales into retail distribution in Europe.
· You will have textile, apparel or non-food FMCG experience.
· You will have fluent German and/or Russian as well as English.
