Sous Chef
at The Hampshire Court Hotel in Chineham, Basingstoke
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef to join our kitchen team. Working within a brigade of 7 chefs, you will assist in the day to day running of the kitchen, taking responsibility in the absence of the Head Chef. You must have strong leadership skills with the ability and confidence to run the kitchen effectively, creating a learning environment, where culinary skills are developed. You must have a good understanding of GP, with the ability to apply this to effective kitchen management alongside the Head Chef. Ideally you will have worked in a similar role in a similar sized establishment. The ideal candidate will be of a very high standard. The hotel can cater for up to 200 in the a la carte restaurant and up to 170 in banqueting/Private Dining.
