full time Assistant Office Administrator

at Applied Vacuum Engineering in Thornbury, Bristol, United Kingdom

We are a small, friendly team, based at our factory and office on Thornbury Industrial Estate.

Due to the recent expansion of the Company, we are looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys ‘mucking in’! The successful candidate will have a varied workload, so a flexible approach to duties is required.

The Role
This varied and challenging position is for a permanent, full time assistant administrator. The role involves call handling, reception, maintenance and use of purchasing, sales and accounts systems.

Additional duties include filing, correspondence, secretarial support to the Proprietor and general office duties.

Requirements
• Ideally, a minimum of 5 GCSE passes, including English and Maths
And a minimum of 5 years experience in an administrational role.
• Experience of Sage Line 50, in particular the accounts and products modules, is essential.
• Sound IT skills and must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Good communication and customer care skills, along with an organised approach to all aspects of the job.

Salary: £16000+ per annum, depending upon experience
