(Work in Japan!) Heart English School: Become an Assistant Language Teacher starting April 2009 (And
at Heart English School in Various cities in Japan
Assistant Language Teachers for April 2009, JAPAN
Are you searching for work as an educator, and would like to have the rewarding social experience of working in Japan and teaching Japanese children? Follow Heart Corporation's steps to becoming an Assistant Language Teacher, an entry-level position available to college graduates and above. No Japanese language or teaching experience is necessary, but is considered a plus!
Heart School can give you the chance to become an essential asset within the Japanese Public School System. Since the 1980s, the Japanese Ministry of Education has called for native English speakers to work in Japan as Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) to teach their language and culture. Through Heart, you can provide a vital part of the internationalization of Japanese youth and communities, while truly interacting with the community of the future: the children of Japan. Heart also offers vacations up to 10 weeks off per year, giving applicants a great chance to explore Japan, experience the culture, or to put their talents to other uses.
Heart School stands out among many other English school companies, who hire teachers just for the "Eikaiwa" or English Conversation School sector. These other companies usually only offer small class sizes with students ranging from pre-school children to retirees, and often times teachers must work long and irregular hours within rigid guidelines. These companies contrast with Heart, who employs ALTs in public schools, which have normal work schedules and longer vacation periods.
Heart Co. is currently looking for energetic candidates who have enthusiasm for teaching to fill our positions, commencing April 2009. Available teaching locations are spread throughout town and country, in the Kanto region (Ibaraki, Tochigi, Chiba, Saitama, and Gunma prefectures, and the Tokyo area), Tohoku region (Miyagi and Iwate) and Hokkaido.
Heart Corporation offers our teachers:
1) Proper Visa sponsorship from within Japan and abroad.
2) Permission to find additional work, within the specifications of your Visa.
3) Comprehensive training before teaching.
4) Company-arranged apartments. (Optional)
5) Possibility of using a company car.
6) An annual pay increase for every Semi-Full Time Employee who remains with the Company for 12 months
Requirements:
1) Native-level English usage
2) BA/BS degree/its equivalent or higher
