Post doc in plant pathology
at Edmund Mach Foundation in San Michele all\'Adige, Trento, Italy
The researcher will work in the ENVIROCHANGE project (Global change and sustainable management of agriculture in highly developed mountain environment) and will develop experiments and research on plant/pathogen-parasite/antagonists interactions and their dependency on climate change.
Tasks: Experiments under lab (microbiology and molecular biology) and greenhouse controlled conditions. Supervision of research activities on the effect of climate change on crops and pests.
Language: English excellent, basics of Italian
IT: Main computer applications and statistic softwares, BLAST and primer design. Basic knowledge on bioinformatic
Title: PhD in molecular biology, possibly in topics related to agronomy or ecology.
Experience in molecular biology, microbiology in particular on real-time PCR, TGGE/DGGE, ARISA, Microarray analysis.
