Home Care Worker
at Careforce Group Chadderton in North Manchester
Thank you for enquiring to work with Chadderton Careforce.
We provide care at home for the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities. You will be expected to carry out domestic tasks and Pesonal Care
As from 1st April 2002, the National Care Standards Act 2000 came into force. All new carers would be expected to work towards or already hold an NVQ in Care Level 2 or above. Careforce will help you achieve the following mandatory requirements
• Induction into Care
• NVQ Care Level 2 or above
If you application is successful you would be required to attend the following training prior to starting out in the community:
• Three day course for Induction into Care
• One day course for Manual Handling
You will also be required to spend at least one day shadowing an experienced Carer or Area Manager, depending on your level of experience.
