Mary’s Bar in Magherafelt are currently recruiting for an experienced Bar Person to be part of the team at their newly renovated Bar / Restaurant. The successful candidate will present and serve beverages, as directed by Management and in accordance with Hygiene, Health and Safety and Customs and Excise Regulations. Mixtures of hours are available as there is more than one position.

We want to hear from people with the following skills, qualifications and experience….
• Amazing Customer Service Skills
• Knowledge of selling and serving alcoholic drinks to the public
• Previous experience of and a proven track record in cash handling
• Experience with the stock and equipment that comes with working behind a busy bar.
As a Bar Person your main duties will include….
• Providing top class bar service whilst ensuring that customer expectations are not only met but exceeded.
• Maintaining the standard of hygiene and cleanliness of the bar, associated areas and equipment
• Replenishing and rotating stock
• Ensuring the availability and condition of glasses and service articles
• Prepare the bar for service, changing kegs, optics, stock and garnishes
• Ensure the security of cash, stock and equipment
• Be aware and adhere to all Health and Safety requirements
