full time Restaurant and Bars Manager

at The Hampshire Court Hotel in Chineham, Basingstoke


The Restaurant and Bar Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of our busy Restaurant, Bar and Lounge areas. Maintaining 4 star service standards at all times.

We are looking for an experienced Manager who will be responsible for the daily running of the restaurant and bar. Additional responsibilities will include the training and management of staff, assisting in product development ensuring that the appropriate standards are maintained at all times and a first class service is delivered to guests. A proactive sales approach is required to meet budgeted revenue targets.

This role would be a perfect opportunity for a current Restaurant and Bar Manager to progress within a dynamic and innovative company. Recently awarded AA Hotel Group of the Year 2008/2009, Q Hotels are dedicated to training and developing their management teams to their full potential.

Good communication and management skills are essential to enable you to motivate staff and create a working environment that supports high standards and encourages delivery of outstanding customer service. A passion for training and the hospitality service industry is a required attribute for the successful candidate. Previous experience in a similar role is required and Hotel experience would be desirable. A Personal Licence would also be an advantage.
