Insider London offers private tours of the best of modern London, showing off its cool boutique shops, best designs and bizarre facts.

We’re looking for design-savvy fluent Italian tour guides to show small groups of people around, paying £12 per hour and calling on people as and when we need them. The tours we’re keen to recruit guides for are Innovative Interiors (interior design of restaurants and shops), Insider Shopping (gift shopping experiences), Modern and Upcoming Architecture, Gourmet Food and Quirky London (bizarre stories about London past and present).

We provide people with the basic route and types of things to say to people. However, we’re looking for people with a particular passion for at least one of the subjects above so they can have enthusiastic discussions with customers, as well as recommending other places in town to go.

Applicants should be confident, charming and outgoing, as well as comfortable presenting to groups of up to 12 people. A love of London is necessary, as well as knowledge and passion in the subjects you’ll be presenting. You should be familiar with what’s cool and exciting in central London, the East End and Notting Hill.

• How long you’ve lived in London
• The tours you are most interested in leading
• The areas of London you are most familiar with
• Three cool London discoveries (shops, bars, experiences) you’ve made in the past three months
• The languages you can speak and how proficient they are in each of them (Italian is essential but any others are a great bonus!)
