• Must be able to manage and deliver cost control on the project
• Is able to manage sub contract accounts and projection of their final account value as part of the project P & L.
• Be able to manage project risks and maintain project risk schedules.
• Is confident in meetings / presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to manage technical, quality and engineering related issues on projects.
• Is able to work to deadlines in order that materials and sub contractors can be procured within the project deliverables.
• Be able to evaluate tender return bids in order that best value can be achieved.
• Is able to review and instigate valued engineering solutions in order that best value can be achieved.
• Is a good communicator both with the project team and supply chain.
• Is able to make decisions quickly and decisively for the work package he/she is responsible for.
• Is able to demonstrate forward thinking to prevent issues arising on projects which could affect programme and cost deliverables.
• Has an excellent drive to improve construction safety and environmental issues.

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications Required
Experience working on high value education and healthcare projects is fundamental.
Excellent working knowledge of materials, specifications and industry working practices
Qualifications:
Holds trade registered qualifications is essential
Educated to ONC level or relevant professional qualification is preferred
